Gopi Vaid was established in 2003, and they started their journey with just handblocked kurtas and tunics. In fact, many of the karigars currently working with the brand belong to the same families who worked at Vaid’s mother’s atelier. Through the brand’s designs, the duo’s creative aesthetics combine with the artistry of these karigars resulting in intricate pieces.
